Blackstone is a newer neighborhood on the Southern part of El Dorado Hills, off of Latrobe. This 990-acre master-planned community features a 10,500 square foot clubhouse called "The Club." This residents-only clubhouse contains 3 pools, a spa, fitness facility, aerobics room, locker rooms, massage room, children's playroom with an outdoor play area, a large multi-purpose gathering area with an adjoining kitchen, and a cozy living room. Additional features include a tot playground, shady pavilions, courtyards, gazebos, fountains, and an outdoor fireplace. Approximately 350 acres are dedicated to open space where trails ribbon throughout the community.

The HOA dues are approximately $138 per month which covers the association management, common areas, gates, and the clubhouse. There are Mello Roos bonds (common for newer construction) that are billed with your taxes.

Blackstone is located in the Buckeye Union School District. The children who live here have the option of attending Valley View Charter Montessori School or Brooks Elementary School and Camerado Springs Middle School. Technically, the homes in the Blackstone would be zoned for Union Mine High School. El Dorado Union High School District has amended the school boundaries making Blackstone a dual attendance zone. This allows students to choose between attending Union Mine or Ponderosa High School. To view the dual attendance map, click here.
